One of my hobbies is crocheting. In addition to the obvious reasons of making anything handmade-- It has a calming effect on me. I have been making Paul and Heather's scarves every year now, and I like to make dishcloths and blankets. I'm hoping to expand it to poncho's, shawls and stoles and shrugs (I know, very ambitious!). Here's one unfinished project. I'm halfway into this blanket and am hoping to finish it in the next few weeks before my friend's baby gets either too big, too old, or both! It's a baby blanket with a popcorn stitch pattern.

I cannot crochet at ALL, but Knitting is my true love!! I am so impressed, becasue my crichet is a big messed up ball of yarn, with a crochet needle sticking out of it!!!
